Dr. Mickey G. Burt
Founded the Burt Clinic of Chiropractic with his wife Karla in 1974 after graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Burt is a current member of the Iowa Chiropractic Society (ICS), American Chiropractic Association (ACA), the Palmer College President's Club, and International Chiropractic Knights of the Round Table. He has lectured extensively across the U.S. and internationally. Currently, Dr. Mickey is active in the ICS, and is a member for the Quality Oversight Committee for Wellmark BC/BS of Iowa. He also serves as Chief Alumni Development Officer for Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Burt has received numerous awards for his accomplishments and has undergone special training in Auto Injury Care.
Dr. Mickey and Karla Burt enjoy boating, golfing, skiing, and doing home remodeling projects. They have 3 children: Chad, Bradley, and Austin.
Dr. Chad W. Burt
Joined his father in practice in 2001 after earning degrees from St. Ambrose University and Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Chad is a current member of the Iowa Chiropractic Society (ICS), the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), and the Palmer College President's Club. He is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP), is certified to perform D.O.T. physicals, and is a member of the Iowa Health Solutions Physician Advisory Committee. Dr. Chad actively serves on ICS committees and is a past district president.
Dr. Chad Burt has conducted professional lectures on the topic of Decompressive Traction Therapy and Spinal Injury Correction following Acute Injury. He also specializes is advanced procedures for the correction of Benign Positional Vertigo (a form of dizziness related to the inner ear).
Dr. Chad and his wife, Kris, have three young children; Dillon, Layton, and Makenna. Dr. Chad enjoys wood-working, golfing, and vacations to Minnesota with his growing family.
Dr. Bradley S. Burt
Joined his father and brother in practice in 2002 after earning degrees from the University of Colorado and Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Bradley is a current member of the Iowa Chiropractic Society (ICS), the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), and the Palmer College President's Club. He is the current President of the Iowa Chiropractic Society, is also a voting board member, and serves on multiple ICS committees. Dr. Bradley continues to enhance the chiropractic profession through public relation and political efforts which take him from Des Moines, IA to Washington, D.C. each year.
Dr. Bradley Burt conducts professional lectures on the topics of Decompressive Traction Therapy, Auto Injury Diagnosis and Treatment, Medicare Compliance and Documentation, and various other topics related to spinal pathologies. In addition to these topics, Dr. Bradley has conducted presentations to medical colleagues on the integration of chiropractic in mainstream health care models.
Dr. Bradley spends his free time golfing, skiing, and traveling. He is an avid baseball fan and is frequently spotted in the Wrigley Field Bleachers. |
